Over the past decade, I focused on addressing UX issues in Edtech as a strategic Product Designer, figuring out the best way to present top-tier original content for kids. I played a key role in launching an innovative e-learning product for families. The main challenges were the distinct requirements of children as core users and grownups as both users and customers, aligning with business metrics.
During this ride, I've had the privilege first of learning from and collaborating with superb professionals spanning entertainment, education, engineering, data, business, marketing, product management, or UX peers. Secondly, I've had the opportunity getting my hands dirty in everything creative, design, or discovery-related, depending on the company's roadmap needs.
I've helped scale an internationally awarded company from 2 to 160+, contributing to achieving remarkable milestones such as worldwide user base expansion (from 0 to 1M, 5M, 10M, 30M, 60M+ users), increased revenue, and improved retention. In addition to the user-centric approach from a product design perspective, I worked to positively influence key metrics (MRR, DAU, MAU, Churn, LTV/CAC).
I've been fortunate to contribute to co-founding in-house content team, bringing artists, animators, and game developers together, overseeing the original content creation from creative direction. Aditionally I’ve recruited UX colleagues and, as design lead having contributed to several teams such growth (conversion) and the core of the product (engagement+retention) through a continuos iterative loop as a hands-on contributor.
From creating the majority of product design artifacts, screens, and Design System versions, I set standards to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience, which served as the north star for design peers in the company. Furthermore, I took on the role of facilitator in casual design ceremonies (critiques and round robins).
Let's connect and explore exciting possibilities together 🤟
